CADCode
CADCode provides barcode labeling, file management, code generation, data conversion, and viewing facilities for users of point-to-point machines in a Windows environment.
- CADCode's ability to process batches of data into CNC programs and bar coded part labels, brings complete automation and high productivity to the custom cabinet manufacturer. Most design or part generation software stops at .DXF output. Most point-to-point post processor software starts with .DXF input. The key to fully automating the manufacturing process is to have each part carry all of its information with it from beginning to end. CADCode excels at this by tracking parts from concept through machining via its superior labeling capabilities

CADCode’s configurability and flexibility in accepting various types of inputs to generate diverse types of outputs makes it unique in the industry.
Used in conjunction with design, database, or end user-created software, all part sizes, cutting layouts, barcode labels, and machining instructions can be produced in a matter of minutes.
Throughout the process, the user may view and edit pictures, view and edit text, and translate one file type to another as desired.
CADCode accepts input from CNC program files, ASCII, CSV, DXF, cutlist (from most optimizers), label and parts files or user-defined formats to create executable machine code, parts files in common saw formats, barcode labels, CAD input and output, and 2D or 3D views.
CADCode provides the capability to move among files with ease, while converting formats along the way.
The process is fully automatic, processing an unlimited amount of files without requiring input from the user.
CADCode has the ability to translate "G" code to DXF and back to "G" code while maintaining tooling and other machine specific information.
This unique feature also allows the translation of CNC programs between supported machines.
Barcode Labels
Label design in CADCode is graphic drag and drop, and limited only by the fonts available on the user's system. The amount of information that can be packed on even a 25 x 100ml label is amazing!.
Label printing is completely flexible with a user-defined layout. CADCode in batches, produces barcode labels, which link the cut product to its associated program code. The data source may be the machine's control program index, or data in DXF, CSV files, any ASCII label file or common format cutlist files.

Labels are typically printed in cutlist order guaranteeing the proper label on the part.
The scale part image on the label graphically displays the edge banding, machining, machine origin and orientation on the machine bed.
The labels may be scanned at CNC machinery to begin executing the program. The label identifies the part and its program, selects the field in which it runs, provides all necessary information to the machine to begin execution, and eliminates the need for user entry at the CNC machine's keyboard or control panel.
The process is fully automated eliminating data entry errors.

On-line Label Printing

CADCode automatically prepares labeling information for CNC saws. Typical cutlists downloaded to CNC saws do not contain the necessary barcode formatting or run-field information for printing ready-to-run labels at the saw. CADCode updates the saw pattern information with this required information.
With CADCode's companion product, SeeSaw, CADCode's graphic labels can be printed at the saw regardless of saw type or manufacturer. SeeSaw brings on-line labeling to manual saws as well, allowing the user to view cutting patterns and select the desired labels. (click here to read more about Saw Labels)

Run Field Management
- CADCode™
Advanced Data Management for Single Part AND Nested Manufacturing - Production Master™ combines Nestedbased and Single Part capabilities with CADCode’s powerful Process Manager for unparalleled control and flexibility over your complete manufacturing process.
Production Master™ provides ALL the tools to manage the flow of machining and labeling data to all of your machines in one powerful integrated package.

The Process Manager
Define all required machining processes that exist in your facility and assign the flow of parts through the different operations.
The CADCode Process Manager can optimize and/or generate code for any number of saws, PTPs, routers and horizontal borers.
All Operations can be performed simultaneously with a single click of the mouse.
CADCode automates run field management via user-defined tables. For full machine utilization, the program automatically assigns run fields for each part so that the point-to-point operates equally in opposing fields and mirrored parts are automatically assigned a facing field. With our Face-Six 6 labeling capability, CADCode automatically generates the additional label for panels requiring machining on both sides. Though ignored by most design programs, proper runfield management is essential to producing accurate parts automatically and will substantially increase the throughput of point-to-point machining centers.
Viewing Capabilities

CADCode can create & view 3D DXF files directly from machine G-code. CADCode is Windows DDE capable and can automatically display a batch of program files via DDE to the AutoManager® viewer included with CADCode. The files created are true 3D DXF files; models which may be rendered, viewed and manipulated in AutoCAD® or other software packages. The user may therefore see the results of conversions from one file type to another. An important distinction to make is that since the user can view the actual G-code as a CAD drawing, the results that the user is viewing are what will be produced, not the original DXF file.
CADCode also allows 'G' code to be viewed as text when desired through the built-in editor, the user's own text editor, or generic editors such as Notepad.

Summary
CADCode provides the custom casework manufacturer an efficiency level for point-to-point machinery previously only attainable by high production facilities. By maintaining control of the user's data from design through machining, CADCode converts that data into ready-to-run machine code while keeping all of information accessible. Since the program can carry with it an enormous amount of data, the user is not forced to drop crucial information that would be valuable and easily referenced on the label. The program easily navigates a machine's complex program directory structure. CADCode's advanced features reduce errors in both machine code generation and parts production. The point-to-point operator can no longer pick up the wrong part for the selected program. A company can dramatically increase the throughput of its CNC machinery often doubling or even tripling the output on custom runs!
