AutoCAD® Automation Module:

ACAM

The ToolPath Manager

The ToolPath Manager stores predefined lead-ins, lead outs and toolpaths for interactive attachment to part geometry, individually or as grouped sets for specific purposes. Create a set of predefined toolpaths for conference tables, solid surface countertops, moldings, stile and rail doors for easy "pick and click" insertion.

"Point and Click" to choose the start point for your rout and even reverse the toolpath direction if you wish.

ACAM™ uses the power of industry standard AutoCAD to fully automate your standard and custom manufacturing requirements. All manner of design, labeling and machining data can be defined in AutoCAD and transferred directly to CADCode for automatic cell based and nested based manufacturing.

ACAM eliminates the time consuming task of defining and exporting individual DXF files. All parts for a product or entire project can be contained in a single drawing and then transferred in batch for manufacturing. ACAM’s unique "two way" interface provides on-the-fly editing of machining transferred from other data sources, eliminating the necessity to backtrack to the source for minor changes or additions.

Convert existing drawings or create new ones quickly and easily with ACAM’s simple yet powerful layering conventions. Transfer not only part and machining geometry but other information such as material, quantity, part description, filename, runfield and graining just to name a few attributes. Tool paths are created right inside AutoCAD, use ordinary AutoCAD commands for creating and modifying your drawings.

ACAM integrates with any of CADCode System’s extensive collection of modular components within the CADCode5 Automation Suite, including components for saw optimization, nested based manufacturing and single part processing.
